This is a wartime Lend-Lease Allis U, featuring what is arguably one of the best four-cylinder petrol TVO engines of its era.
 
The tractor was restored some time ago. While the paint has lifted in a few areas, all the tinwork is straight and free from rot. It sits on a good pair of closed-tread rear tyres with matching solid fronts.
 
The engine starts almost instantly every time and settles into the distinctive Allis note. It’s free from any frost damage and runs smoothly on TVO, pulling well in every gear. The band brake is in good working order too.
 
It cruises nicely in top gear at around 12 mph and comes with a current V5.
 
We've had several Allis U models this year and they're a firm favourite of ours for their fun and usability.
