Tamar Vintage Tractors - 1953 Fordson Major
 
This is a very early Diesel Major featuring the sought-after 'wide fan belt' and the early woven front grilles. Originally supplied here in Devon, it’s best described as an older restoration that has been well looked after and regularly used on local Tractor Road Runs.
 
The tractor starts easily and runs very well, driving smoothly on the road and pulling well in all gears. The brakes are effective, the steering is tight and responsive, and it’s recently been fitted with new tyres.
 
The tinwork is solid throughout and presents with a nice finish for its age. It also comes with a current V5 registration document.
