A very nice example of a petrol/TVO Allis-Chalmers D272.
 
The D272 was introduced in 1957 and is a well-sized tractor, making it ideal for road runs, shows, and rallies.
 
This tractor is an older restoration but still presents extremely well, with excellent paintwork and good tyres all round.
 
It starts well from cold and runs smoothly. The engine shows no signs of frost damage and maintains good oil pressure.
 
The tractor is fitted with working hydraulics, PTO, and a pick-up hitch, all operating correctly.
 
It drives well in all gears and features a 4-speed gearbox. The steering is precise, and the brakes are strong and responsive.
 
It is also fitted with electric start.
