This David Brown is a credit to its previous owner, who has clearly spent some time sympathetically tidying it up. The tin work is in excellent order and is presented with a lovely shine. 
 
This 3-cylinder Diesel Implematic model starts well from cold - with the excess fuel screw opened up - and settles down to run very well. The oil and water are in the correct places and there is no frost damage to the engine block.
 
Out on the road, it pulls well and the brakes are good. A bit of play in the steering box is noticeable, but it certainly doesn’t wander across the road.
 
The hydraulics are functioning as they should and so is the PTO.
 
This tractor benefits from four new tyres and comes with a current V5 document. 
 
In all, an affordable little tractor which would be ideal for a smallholding.
