The David Brown Diesel Cropmaster was built in West Yorkshire between 1950 and 1956.
 
This is a lovely example, featuring the iconic bench seat with room for two! The unique design of this model sees the clutch and brake pedals sit to the right-hand side of the transmission - allowing space for a second person on board!
 
The styling of the Cropmaster is also distinctive, with a valance that comes up over the bonnet, providing a surprising amount of defence against the elements! 
 
This particular tractor has been restored some years ago and is still in great shape with the paintwork holding a nice shine.
 
This David Brown is fitted with a belt pulley, PTO and Hydraulics. The lights are complete and all working. The arms are not currently fitted but will be included in the sale.
 
The diesel engine starts well and runs clean. It has been subject to a repair on the block at some stage in its life - as many have - but its currently full of antifreeze and doesn’t leak. 
 
On the road it’s a joy to drive, pulls very well and has a reasonable turn of speed making a fun road run tractor, with the unique ability to bring a friend in comfort!
