Farmall F-12

£3,850.00Price

Tamar Vintage Tractors - 1934 Farmall F-12 fitted with period finger bar mower

This 1934 Farmall F-12 is a striking example of International Harvester’s smallest tractor in the McCormick-Deering range. Built at the Rock Island, Illinois factory between 1932 and 1938, the F-12 was introduced as a low-cost, all-purpose tractor aimed at replacing horses on small farms and only 25 units were made in its first year of production. The serial number on this tractor confirms it was built a couple of years into production, in 1934.

Discovered in a barn around 10 years ago, this tractor has been sympathetically recommissioned, preserving its original patina and character. It starts easily and runs well, with good brakes, steering, and oil pressure. The engine is free from frost damage.

It comes fitted with a period-correct finger bar mower, adding to its authenticity and appeal.

Unfortunately the original registration document was lost, but this tractor has since been re-registered with the DVLA and comes with a current V5. Also included in the sale are a copy of the Farmall lubrication chart and an instruction manual for the McCormick-Deering Farmall mower.

The tractor sits on brand new tyres all round and is ready to show or enjoy, it would certainly make an impression in a rally field line-up!

Based in Tavistock, Devon. Nationwide delivery can be arranged.

Part exchanges welcome.
