Ferguson TEA20 P3
* SOLD * Tamar Vintage Tractors - Ferguson TEA20 P3
In the 50’s when the early TEA petrol Fergusons were becoming tired, the Diesel engine manufacture Perkins, started to produced conversion kits to put their tried and tested 3-cylinder diesel engine into the Ferguson, not only did this massively increase the HP, but also gave the tractor a new lease of life for a lower cost than a new one
Owing to the nature of the P3 engine being taller than the original, you see the conversion had panel fitted to increase the hight of the bonnet where it meets the dash.
This particular tractor has had a complete engine rebuild in the last 3 years, (receipts available) at a cost of £3000+ vat. It starts well and runs clean, with no smoke and excellent oil pressure.
It’s fitted with new tyres all round; the tinwork is in good order, as is the paint work.
It drives faultlessly and pulls well in all gears; all the lights work too.
There’s a good history file with it including current V5 and early buff log with much history from its early life in Essex.
