A nice little diesel T20 project.
 
This tractor came from the Ferguson collection, where it had been sitting for some time. We have fitted a slightly later starter motor and carried out some wiring work to get the tractor starting and running.
 
It takes a little heat to start, but once warm it runs nicely. There is some “breathing” from the crankcase, although it has excellent oil pressure.
 
The tractor drives well and selects all the gears correctly. The brakes are good, and both the PTO and hydraulics are working as they should.
 
The tinwork is largely straight and the bonnet is in good condition. There is a hole in one of the wings, although replacement skins are readily available and relatively inexpensive.
 
The tyres are all old and perished and would benefit from being replaced.
 
We are selling this tractor as a running project. It would make a wonderful restoration project and, importantly, it retains all the correct parts. The Ki-Gass pump and tank are complete, which are often missing from these tractors, and the original serial plate is still intact. The engine block is also free from any frost damage.
 
A genuine running project with plenty of potential and a great basis for restoration. With winter closing in, now could be the ideal time to get this one into the workshop!
