Here we have a beautifully restored early Series 3A Field Marshall. The early 3A models were painted green, before the later ones changed to orange.
 
This tractor was fully restored around 20 years ago and has since been kept as part of a private collection. The restoration was comprehensive, and we have photo documentation and a detailed list of all the work carried out.
 
The engine has been completely rebuilt, including new pistons cast and fitted, new bearings, seals, and other components. The brakes and steering also benefited from a full overhaul.
 
The tractor has excellent compression, having done very little work since the rebuild. It starts easily with a determined swing on the handle, runs beautifully, and ticks over smoothly.
 
On the road, it drives faultlessly through all gears. The tyres are new and show no wear at all. The steering and brakes perform excellently.
 
The tinwork is in very nice condition – it has aged nicely over the years and presents very well overall.
