Here we have a very special Thames Trader 400E 15cwt panel van.
 
This unique van has been restored as a tribute to Truro Tractors, who were the main Fordson and Ford dealers in the period. The signwriting is outstanding, featuring the Fordson wheat sheaf logo faithfully recreated on the doors and finished in the correct Fordson blue paint scheme.
 
The van was a familiar sight at local shows and rallies for many years before being laid up for the last 14 years.
 
The bodywork is in very good condition overall. There are a couple of small areas of rust on the front valance that will require minor attention, but aside from this the van is very solid.
 
The petrol engine runs very well, and the column-mounted gear change selects all gears smoothly.
 
Overall, this is a lovely van that would be a great addition to any Ford collection.
