Fordson N

Fordson N

*Now Sold*

This 1940, narrow-wing Standard Fordson has spent its entire working life in Cornwall, having recently been acquired from a private collection.

These lovely, straightforward Fordsons were the backbone of mechanised agriculture and would have been used by the Land Army as part of the war effort.

It has been restored at some point in its life and is still very presentable, with the tinwork in good condition.

The tractor features all its original components, it is fitted with the correct manifold and one-piece throttle body, and the original petrol/TVO engine which is free from any cracks or frost damage. There is no mixing of any fluids.

Its starts very easily from cold, runs nicely and drives well in all gears.

It is sat on 28” rear wheels and is fitted with the standard ratio gearbox.

These little standards Fordsons offer a very affordable way into veteran tractors and are relatively simple to drive and operate.

This tractor also comes with an original buff log book and a blue-style V5 from the 1970s.

Based in Tavistock, Devon. Part exchanges welcome.
