There will be no ‘sneaking’ this tractor into the shed – it is fantastically loud!
 
This Fordson Major has been fitted with a Dorset 6-cylinder diesel engine that was originally fitted to a lorry.The conversion has been done very well, the bonnet and side rails have been extended nicely and the A-frame that holds the front axle in place has been neatly fitted to the side rails It starts almost instantly from cold and sounds amazing through a straight piped stainless steel exhaust. It is sat on oversized rear tyres and strengthened rims.All the tin work is straight and clean. There are a few areas of surface rust starting to show, but a lot of this could be cleaned up easily. All the lights are complete and working. It is also fitted with a rare secondary spool valve. Out on the road, it pulls well and revs freely making everyone aware you’re in town! It’s pretty quick too!So if you’re looking for a bit of fun that’s also still very useable, this could be for you!
