Fordson N
Tamar Vintage Tractors - Fordson N
The Fordson Model N was a landmark, affordable tractor produced from 1929 to 1945, crucial for mechanising British agriculture, replacing horses and keeping farms running with its simple, rugged design and 27 hp engine.
Here we have a very affordable wartime tractor. This is a later narrow-wing, Standard Fordson featuring 28’ rear wheels.
The tractor is free from any frost damage and has recently been re-filled with fresh anti-freeze.
The petrol/tvo engine starts well - even from cold. The clutch works well and doesn’t drag.
The tinwork is solid throughout and has been sympathetically painted by the previous owner in the fitting camoflauge green.
It does carry an old registration number, but we do not have a V5 document.
Based in Tavistock, Devon. Nationwide delivery can be arranged.
