A good, straight Fordson N Wide Wing, recently acquired from a large private collection.
 
The tractor has been well painted in the past and presents nicely, with straight, clean tinwork. The engine block is free from frost damage, and it sits on a good set of original closed-tread 28-inch rear tyres.
 
This is a petrol/TVO model and has recently benefited from a reconditioned magneto. It starts easily and runs well.
 
The tractor drives nicely, with a good clutch, making it a very usable example. The rear axle is somewhat noisy, which is indicative of the work it has likely carried out during its working life but this doesn't hinder its use.
 
Overall, a straight and affordable standard Fordson N. An ideal tractor for anyone looking to get into the world of early hand-start tractors, with plenty of character and usability.
