This is a genuine and very well cared-for Mk2 Fordson Super Major, owned by the same family from new and maintained throughout its life.
 
The Mk2 Super Major features the inline Simms mechanical injection pump, giving improved engine performance and power over earlier models.
 
The tractor comes with a small history booklet detailing work carried out over the years. It has also been repainted in recent years to a good standard and still retains an excellent shine.
 
The tractor starts instantly from cold and runs and drives very well. The engine is crisp and responsive, with excellent steering and brakes.
 
The PTO and hydraulics operate correctly, and the tractor is also fitted with 'Live Drive'.
 
The rear tyres are Goodyear Diamond tread with light age cracking but plenty of usable life remaining, whilst the front tyres appear to have been replaced more recently.
 
The tinwork is clean, straight, and rust-free, presenting very well overall.
 
This is a lovely example ready to be used and enjoyed.
