International 523
Tamar Vintage Tractors - International 523
A fine example of an International Harvester tractor, fitted with a 3-cylinder 52hp diesel engine.
Built in Neuss, Germany between 1965 and 1972, these tractors were primarily intended for the German and French markets. However, many made their way to the UK, where they proved to be strong competitors to models from Massey Ferguson and Ford during that era.
This tractor is an excellent starter from cold and runs and drives very well, featuring 8 forward and 4 reverse gears.
It comes from a private collection and is an older restoration. The paintwork remains in very nice condition, with the tinwork in excellent order, retaining a strong shine. It is fitted with an excellent set of tyres all round.
On the road, it performs very well, with precise steering and effective brakes.
The PTO and hydraulics are all in good working order.
Overall, this is a well-sized, versatile tractor, ready for work or play.
Based in Tavistock, Devon. Nationwide delivery can be arranged.
