Tamar Vintage Tractors - International B450
Here we have a lovely International B450. The International McCormick-Deering B-450 was manufactured by International Harvester at its Doncaster factory in England. Introduced in 1957–1958 as a heavy-duty competitor to the Fordson Major, it was a restyled and improved version of the earlier BWD-6. The B450 earned an excellent reputation thanks to its impressive pulling power and exceptional lugging ability.
This tractor is best described as an older restoration. The paintwork remains bright, while the tinwork is clean and presentable. It is fitted new tyres all-round and starts exceptionally well from cold. The engine runs smoothly and performs as it should.
On the road, the steering is responsive and the brakes are positive and effective.
It is fitted with a slightly larger set of rear tyres and also benefits from an excellent turn of speed, making it a very usable and enjoyable example of this sought-after classic model.
Based in Tavistock, Devon. Nationwide delivery can be arranged.
