This is a well-presented W4, all complete and in good running order.
 
It sits on original style ‘closed tread’ rear tyres with inner wheel weights.
 
The tractor starts up easily on the handle and settles down to the characteristic smooth tick over these tractors are well known for, maintaining good oil pressure. 
 
Once warm, it switches over to TVO and runs very well on this too.
 
On the road, the brakes are in good working order and it drives well in all gears with a reasonable turn of speed.
 
The engine block is crack-free and is currently full of antifreeze. 
 
The tin work is in good order with no major rust issues, however the paint work could be improved.
 
These little W4’s are lightweight and make great vintage ploughing tractors, offering something a bit different to take to a show!
 
We have applied for a new V5 document which will come with the tractor.
