A very well presented, older restoration with its original serial plate. 
 
This lovely John Deere is fitted with electric start and runs really well.
 
The engine has been worked on a few years ago and it is running well.

The John Deere model 'D' was released in 1923 and was made until 1953, which was the longest production run of all the two-cylinder John Deere tractors built. The first model D was on steel wheels with a two-cylinder hand-cranked engine
 
The model D evolved over the years before it ceased production in 1953, after over 160,000 various versions had been built.
