Lister CS Stationary Engine
* SOLD * Tamar Vintage Tractors - Lister CS Stationary Engine
A beautiful example of a mid-1930s Lister CS 5hp diesel stationary engine, mounted on a trolley. This particular engine is especially desirable as it is radiator-cooled rather than the more common tank-cooled variant.
The engine starts easily with a good swing and settles down to a lovely slow tick-over, producing a very distinctive and characteristic exhaust note. There is no frost damage, and it is currently filled with antifreeze for peace of mind.
It has been widely exhibited and has attended many events, including regular outings to the Great Dorset Steam Fair.
Overall, this is a very attractive and well-presented engine, ready to be shown and enjoyed at rallies.
Based in Tavistock, Devon. Nationwide delivery can be arranged.
