This is a pre-assembled Mamod TE1A steam tractor – a classic favourite among steam toy enthusiasts. It's a detailed and realistic replica of a traditional traction engine, ideal for collectors or hobbyists alike.
 
This example is an earlier model, featuring the glass water gauge on the rear. It’s designed to run on solid fuel tablets but has also been successfully steamed using fuel gel.
 
It runs well and steams nicely. The only thing missing is the steering rod, which is easily sourced online.
 
A charming piece with great display or hobby value – and a fun nod to traditional engineering!
