Tamar Vintage Tractors - Marshall 702
 
In 1981 the tractor operations of Leyland were purchased by the Nickerson group and subsequently rebranded as Marshall Tractors Ltd. The Marshall 702 was produced between 1982-1987. It was fitted with a 72hp, 4-cylinder diesel engine a flat-floored cab.
 
This Marshall has covered just over 3500 hours from new and has just come to us from a small farm where it was in daily use. 
 
Mechanically, this tractor is in excellent condition, it starts instantly from cold, runs and drives very nicely.
 
It features a 9-forward and 3-reverse synchromesh gearbox, allowing for smooth changes on the move!
 
This tractor also benefits from power steering, a Power Loader and Pick up hitch.
 
The brakes are good and having just had a new pair of Slave Cylinders fitted. 
 
There is some notable rust in the cab, along the door bottoms and lower front window, which is quite common. The bonnet has been overpainted in the past and a new rear wing has just been fitted.
 
 
Out on the road, the tractor is a real pleasure to drive. The loader works well and the steering and brakes are responsive.
 
The engine pulls very well in all gears too and the hydraulics are working correctly.
 
This is a super option if you are looking for an affordable loader tractor to put to work.
