This Massey was purchased from Mitchells of Etwall in Derby in 1976 and has spent its entire working life on a small farm on the Notts/Derbyshire border, clocking up just 5,850 hours of work.
 
It even comes with its original handbook and a V5 certificate.
 
A genuine safety cab has been fitted from new, which would have been an essential requirement to meet the legislation introduced in the 1970’s regarding noise levels and enhanced rollover protection. Uniquely this ‘soundproofing’ material remains in place and is functional, limiting engine noise and reducing draft – a perfect sanctuary for winter work! 
 
Functionally, this tractor runs and drives well, it has clearly been well-maintained throughout its life. The hydraulics, PTO and brakes are all fully functioning. The lights are working, the tinwork is solid throughout and it really is in remarkable condition for its age. 
 
The rear tyres are in ‘as new’ condition, and the glass is intact too.
