Massey Ferguson 135
Tamar Vintage Tractors - Massey Ferguson 135
A very clean and original example of the later straight front axle Massey Ferguson 135.
This is a late 1976 model, fitted with the robust Perkins three-cylinder diesel engine. The later 135s were equipped with the straight front axle and also featured a dry element air cleaner.
This tractor is very clean and genuine, showing just 3,885 hours.
It is fitted with a Massey Ferguson trip loader complete with bucket and forks, a pick-up hitch, and a soft canvas cab.
The tractor is an excellent starter and runs and drives very well, with good steering and brakes. The hydraulics are all working correctly.
The tinwork is original and carries a lovely patina.
The canvas on the cab would benefit from replacement, as the one currently fitted is not quite correct for the tractor, although it does provide useful protection from the rain.
Whilst the tractor has a number plate, we do not have a V5, but a quick online check shows it was last taxed in 1992, so a replacement could be easily applied for.
Overall, a grand little tractor ready for its next day’s work.
