We are excited to present for sale, this highly sought-after Massey Ferguson 35X variant. 
 
The 35X was introduced in 1962 and featured the more powerful 44hp 3-cylinder Perkins diesel engine that went on to be used in the 135, the tractor also featured a differential lock.
 
This lovely little example has been used on a small farm for a number of years, it has been kept in work and has most recently been used for light topping duties. It is understood that the engine was overhauled around 10 years ago and the tractor has done very little work since. 
 
It starts well from cold and runs with little to no smoke from the engine. The brakes are good on the road and the engine pulls well with the distinctive Perkins bark.
 
The tin work is straight throughout, the rear wings are later replacements which were fitted a few years ago and the bonnet has had a thick coat of paint on it. 
 
There is plenty of life left in the tyres which are ‘as new’.
 
The Clutch and hydraulics are all functioning correctly, and it comes with a current V5.
 
This little 35x would go straight to work or make a straightforward and worthwhile project, with restored examples making record prices at a recent vintage sale!
