Massey Ferguson 821

This is a very interesting French-built Massey Ferguson, featuring a Hanomag two-stroke supercharged diesel engine.
 
The Massey Ferguson 821 was produced between 1959 and 1967 in Marquette-lez-Lille, France, and is often referred to as the Massey 21.
 
This particular example is offered for sale as an ongoing project, and conveniently, we also have a second non-running 821 available for purchase, which could be very useful for spares. The hydraulics are not currently functioning, so the wiring will need fixing. 
 
The tractor starts well from cold with a bit of heat. It runs and drives in all gears, the brakes are good, and it has just had a new clutch fitted.
 
Overall, this is a charming, unusual and affordable tractor which would make a lovely restoration project.
