A very genuine and original Nuffield 10/42.
 
The 10/42 was introduced in 1964 to replace the Nuffield 3/42, featuring an upgraded 10-speed gearbox. It is powered by a 42 hp diesel engine built by BMC and is equipped with live drive, making it a very capable tractor for its size.
 
This cracking little tractor starts instantly from cold and runs very nicely. On the road it pulls effortlessly in top gear and has a surprisingly good turn of speed.
 
The steering and brakes are both good, and the hydraulics and PTO are all working correctly.
 
The tinwork is very clean and straight and carries a lovely, honest patina that suits the tractor well.
 
These smaller Nuffields have been gaining popularity recently and are known for being very capable and practical little tractors.
 
The tractor comes with a current V5 registration document.
