Tamar Vintage Tractors - Opperman Motocart
Here we have a very rare and charming example of the three-wheeled Opperman Motocart.
The Opperman Motocart was produced from 1946 through to the early 1950s for use in small market gardens and light industry, where it was ideal for transporting goods.
It is powered by a single-cylinder JAP petrol engine paired with a gearbox offering both forward and reverse gears.
One of its most distinctive features is its unique stand-up driving position, operated with a single clutch and brake pedal.
This particular Motocart was formerly part of a museum collection. When the museum was dispersed, it was placed into storage.
We have recently recommissioned it, and it now starts easily on the starting handle, running and driving very well.
The bodywork is in excellent condition, and it is ready to be enjoyed once again.
Supplied with a current V5C registration document.
Based in Tavistock, Devon. Nationwide delivery can be arranged.
