Here we have a very original Zetor that has been sitting in a private collection for the last 20 years, having covered just 2,000 hours from new. It is a lovely example of a genuine “time capsule” tractor and was quite ahead of its time, particularly with its spacious and well-designed cab.
 
Since the tractor has come out of storage, we have fully overhauled the brakes, which had seized from standing. This included fitting new brake shoes and replacing all the hydraulic cylinders. A new alternator has also been fitted, and the tractor will be fully serviced prior to sale.
 
The tractor remains very original and retains some lovely features that have often been lost over the years. These include the heating system ducted from the radiator, as well as the original lower rear curtain.
 
It starts instantly and runs very nicely, driving well through all the gears. It is also fitted with a pick-up hitch to the rear.
 
All of the cab glass is intact, and there are no corrosion issues to be concerned about. There is some surface rust in places, mainly where dust has settled on the tractor over the years, but nothing of any serious concern.
 
Overall, this is a fantastic retro 1970s icon and a wonderfully original example, ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
